4 weeks TODAY

I promise to load photos later of the results at 4 weeks.....So my support garment can come off but I am going to wear for another week (dont really know why but thought WHY NOT).

I have no more pain what so ever, slight swelling in places but also depends on how hot it is as I swell more in the heat anyway. NO BRUISING and all even which I wouldnt have expected with normal lipo as they have no control.

What I am going to do next - well sculpt and define my biceps, possibly have fat injected into my pecs (my own fat!!), my lats sculpted and trimmed and maybe my chin...this will be in the new year...

So after 4 weeks am I happy - HELL YES over the moon and so glad I didnt go for those heat generated laser over promising treatments which could not in a million years achieve what I have...

Follow Appointment

4 week Follow up appointment today with Dr Claassen. all went very well and still a slight bit of swelling around the lower abdomen. He couldnt believe the result considering how I started. My groin area is still a little sensitive and some few areas are a bit hard still but this will soften up over the next 2-3 weeks - It is still in recovery but WOW to the results :))

We discussed my next Vaser procedure to sculpt and define my arms and lats......now this will be worth reporting on!!

Monday Week 4

2 days left and then it is 4 weeks. I went to gym today and ran for 10 minutes, biceps and then 200 crunchies - yes done properly. I had minimum discomfort during the sit ups and no pain. My skin still has a wierd sensation when I touch it but this will improve I know.

My love handles and lower back do feel strange (difficult to explain) when I drive without the garment on I think it is more sensation as it is not sore. I am going to wear this garment now from Wednesday for a further 2 weeks but in the evening - the longer the better I feel....

I go for my follow up on the 15th December and this will be 6 weeks post treatment.

Vaser - My final stretch...

Final weekend of garments - YAY... How do I feel GREAT but I know this is still the beginning of recovery. It will take at least another month to two for my skin to get full sensitivity back, it sometimes feels quite tingly which is understandable as they probed around under there. But there was no bruising my skin is even so NO unevenness as one would expect from standard lipo and NO lumps and bumps as friends of mine have from traditional lipo. I know one can say it is the skill of the surgeon not the machine - and yes I would agree BUT how the hell are we as normal consumers to know who is good or not, just that they can do the procedure well and safely....

I can feel the ridges of my stomach and will load pictures later to show the results - wait till you see what i mean as it is unbelievable what Vaser technology can do

Maybe they should have a league table of Plastic Surgeon ranking them according to patients!!

Friday - 4th Week post Vaser

I am quite excited now as I can officially take the garments off next Wednesday....I am in no pain or discomfort, the results look great even though I know with more time they get better. I am back at gym and feel so much better with the extra layer around my stomach. I am away this weekend so will load more photos on Monday for you all but rest assured I am very pleased with the results and initial recovery period, would I do this all over again - most definitely.

If you do consider make sure though you see a fully certified and experienced Doctor and that the procedure is done in a safe and minor surgical room not a consultation room or back room....

Into the 4th Week

So into my final week of wearing the support garment 24/7 it is not that bad and to be honest when I have put it into the wash and not worn it for a couple of hours, i have felt at a loss almost like it is my "comfort blanket"....

Went back to gym again this morning and managed to run for at least 15 of the 20 minutes, it felt great not to have my stomach bouncing up and down...then did 150 light crunchies. My back felt a little tight possibly from the jogging but other than that it felt great to be back active. I couldnt help feeling my own stomach as it is was flat for the first time since I was about 24....

My Journey so Far - 21 DAYS POST VASER HI-DEF

3 Weeks Today!!

Well I am nearing the end of the initial period of recovery and I feel great. Went back to gym this morning ran for 20 minutes on the treadmill (yes a few minutes of walking in there too..) and then gentle crunchies which I managed 120. My stomach felt great not have a bulge when trying to do sit ups and for the first time in my life I lifted my shirt to wipe the sweat off my face instead of my towel....

So final week of the foam garment now which I wear at night for added support, the actual stretch support garment I will try and wear for at least 6 weeks but we will see, I hear the longer I can endure it the better the long term results from a skin retraction perspective...however some days with the African heat it is a bit much.

I cannot wait to be in my baggies again and jump in the pool...

Day 20 - Photos

Back to Gym

So I went back to gym even though it was light aerobic it felt good and a few stomach crunchies was awesome not having a small pouch to contend with everytime you want to sit up....I will build up more and more with the gym and progress back into weights but now i want to enjoy my new flat stomach :)... YES I waited 3 weeks but I did have H-Def Vaser so more intense and this was my choice i do think I probably could have gone back last week and walked on the treadmill and cross trainer but this was me. With standard Def I believe one can go back within the first week depending on the are it is treated.

I have just seen the photos of a chap who is a body builder and had 3 months post Vaser hi-def and all I can say is WOW, Bloody HELL and flippin Heck. Awesome and I know he was treated by Dr Claassen!

Monday - half way through Week 3

Hi All, sorry I was out all weekend and could not post. Nearly at the end of week 3 and I am feeling great. The swelling has all but gone, still wearing the garments and must be honest and say it was hot on Saturday so tried to keep out the sun....anyway I am going to take more photos later and will load them up so you can see the results. My skin still feels weird in a sense that the sensation is not there, rather like a numbness but this will come back in time i am sure. I hope to be back to gym this week with light exercises and not strain myself.

Last day of Physio

Today is Friday and I am over halfway in my recovery. The results are awesome so far and will load more pics after the physio. It is the last time I go today, unless she will want a final review towards the 4 weeks when all the garments come off....I believe it has helped as there is hardly any swelling now, no pain and I am so used to my foam garment I feel at a loss when it is not on.. So today I hope will be a gentle massage - ha ha

Day 13 - Vaser Hi-Def

So onto Tuesday 13 days after my Vaser procedure. No Physio now today as it is only every 2nd day and finishes Friday. I can say what a difference it has made going for Physio as the results have improved drastically everyday. Still a bit of swelling in certain areas but I can see the definition now coming through. I have researched into results and they say over the next 3-6 months it keeps getting better :) I cannot wait now!! So tomorrow more photos so until then bye for today...

Day 12 - Photos

Hi all, back from the Physio and there was hardly any pain - YAY. The swelling has almost gone and now just time for the muscles to heal fully which will take a while. So here are the photos now DAY 12 in the VASER Hi-Def House.....

12 days post Vaser

So Monday 12 days after Vaser Hi-Def and i am back to physio this morning. i will take some more pictures as the swelling has gone down both around my stomach and my scrotum area. No pain and hardly any discomfort so now enjoying the recovery period. I took my foam support garment off on Saturday for about 4 hours whilst it dried after being washed and i missed my "comfort blanket" funny how I have become attached to the support...

So will load more photos later :)

8 days post Vaser

So Day 8 and my swelling in the groin area has gone but the scrotum is still swollen and gets sore if i stand for too long. Other than this I am in no pain and now used to my support garment and foam (guess I have to take a picture of these so you can understand what I am wearing. It does get uncomfortable at night as I have to sleep on my back and due to my nuts being so big I cannot put my legs together (ha ha). Will upload more photos later but really no difference to yesterday....

7 Days Post Vaser Lipo

Day 7 after Vaser and all still going well. My scrotum was a bit more swollen last night and this must be from the fluid and gravity. I used an ice pack to help and raised my legs to get it flowing back overnight. This seemed to help and then today went back to Physio - Yay....more pain but i know will be worth it in the end. Here are my photos from today and as you can see a bit more swelling across my stomach but still no bruising. I took the tape off around my chest last night and did this hurt or what......

Tuesday - 6 days later

Early morning Tuesday and I am up without too much discomfort. I can feel that my body is a bit more swollen but apart from that I feel good. Still dont know how i am to fit in a suit so this may have to wait. I am back to Physio this morning which is getting better but still painful... Monday - 5 days post Vaser

Well it is now Monday morning and I am still here. I must say I expected more pain but this is really bearable, the most pain actually comes from the Physio each day but again I can see the benefit of seeing her. The results are still bloody awesome with a bit more swelling around the stomach today but I can still see my 8 pack definition. I am now used to the foam garment and this also helps me sit up straight. The swelling in my scrotum area is going down as I have been having my legs raised.

Anyway off to Physio at 11.00 so will let you know how I feel later.

Went for Physio this afternoon - 1st treatment and this actually caused the most pain. I was in tears as she was massaging my stomach but I know in the end it will be worthwhile as she managed to remove most of the liquid.
Tomorrow I go back to Dr Claassen to have the drains removed and then back to the Physio in the afternoon.

So one day after the surgery and all I can say is that I have no pain, more discomfort when getting off the couch or into bed. The worst part is the leakage through the drains but this is slowly residing. I took a shower and can only say WOW what a result I have a 8 pack not a 6 pack

I am off to have my procedure tomorrow morning with Dr Henri Claassen in PTA. I am both nervous and excited as this is High definition included and I will let you know on Thursday how I feel one day later.....

One of my best friends had breast implants from a Plastic Surgeon in KZN, terrible results with the implant moving around and she is crying all the time as it cost her so much money. NOW he wants to charge her more to fix his mistake - And this is why they think they are GODS.....
